Service Description

**Please note this SANE course is approved by the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN). It meets the education guidelines set forth by IAFN and has been granted the seal of approval. The purpose of this training is to educate nurses in Forensic Nursing standards and to ensure competent medical-legal forensic evaluation for all patients reporting sexual violence, taking into account developmental, cultural, racial, ethnic, sexual and socioeconomic diversity. This course is intended for nurses interested in becoming a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE). Requirements include RN or higher. In order to successfully complete this training, participants must complete all coursework within 4 weeks and receive 90% on the post-test. All coursework is completed online at your own pace. Full online attendance required and verified through online education platform. No partial credit given. Upon payment receipt, 515 FoReNsics will provide course access information within 48 business hours at the email address provided.
